Amazon lists this faucet as "new". When I received the faucet I noticed that the Kohler quality seal was broken on the box. Obviously, someone had previously opened the box. When I opened the box, each handle and the faucet were nicely wrapped in cushioned, protective bags but all three pieces had significant nicks on them down to bare metal. Since they were in these protective bags, I was sure that it was not damaged in shipment. This particular faucet that Amazon shipped me was either used or a factory reject. Either way Amazon should not be advertising them as new. I did not have any problems with returning it to Amazon for a full refund.

Fortunately for me, I bought my Vibrant Brazen Bronze faucet in the store. I did have to put one down as it was not packaged in order to protect the contents. Luckily the second (and last) one was fine. Everything was in the box. The seal doesn't mean its OK inside the box....
The faucet was easily installed and is beautiful. I have to say, after installing several different finishes of Kohler faucets, this has to be my favorite.
I gave the faucet 5 stars for its quality, ease of installation, directions and its look and feel.
I do have to agree with everyone, Kohler needs to get its act together (as well as Amazon) in regards to packaging.

My Devonshire faucet and related accessories are beautiful, but the faucet presents a problem. For a good hand-washing water temperature, I must turn the hot water on all the way and the cold water just a bit. Kohler sent a new valve when I contacted them about this problem, but the situation is the same after its installation. A friend in another building also bought the same faucet, and has the same problem. Anyone else?
