The tools themselves are of good quality and a solid value in themselves.BUT needed a kit for the 1/4 ratchet. Gearwrench/Apex will do everything to keep from warranting the tool. So much of a hassle I sold them, don't want anything else to do with Gearwrench. The tools are OK. The company could care less about it's customer base. I suggest you buy another brand. If Gearwrenh/Apex can get the warranty issues together I would have given the tools 4 stars at least. No matter how well a ratchet is made it can break. Thats just a fact of life. Customer warranty service can make or break the value of a tool. Apex/Gearwrench warranty service is rude and will go though a series of questions to see if they can void your warranty. Tell them you bought them at Saers. Many of the places you buy them through Amazon they will void the warranty. The tools are great but doesn't make any differance when you can't get it warrantied. like buying a new Ford F-150 and when the engine blows up you just have a nice looking truck to look at that does nothing.

These ratchets feel great in your hand and are very smooth! Ratcheting mechanism seems to be high quality and will provide many years of use. These are some of the best ratchets made today by any manufacturer and for $100, can't be beat, what a fastastic value! They are also the one of the nicest looking ratchets on the market today. Lifetime warranty! Gearwrench full line of tools are excellent!!!
