We got thi for Christmas and used it for a new years eve fondue party. This is great! The pot worked perfectly and the cleanup couldn't have been easier. We have already bought a second so we can do oil and something else the next time!

I very much liked this product. I used it as a oil fondue pot. It kept the oil plenty hot with 3 people using the oil to cook meat and vegetables. This is a big pot with a wide mouth and the insert holds the forks nicely. If you are using this for chocolate it may be large. I do not regret my purchase at all. This pot does not burn the bottom and it cleaned up very nice.

This was my first electric fondue pot. I have 3 "open flame" pots, and I'm very unhappy with them. The temperature is hard to maintain, and the food ends up getting burnt on to the pot when it gets low. I decided to get this and I'm very glad I did. The heat control is accurate and easy to manage. The ONLY negative comment I can make is that the power cord is very short. It barely makes it off the edge of my table before meeting the extension cord. Other than that, it performs perfectly and I would recommed this to a firt time fondue pot buyer or anyone looking to switch from the open-flame style. The "break-away" power cord is not a problem and seems to stay strongly on the pot.
